Colourwashed Stripes….

Apart from general colour washing, Sam has developed her own technique of colour graduated washed stripes which are deeper at the ceiling and getting progressively pale as they come down.

Interesting finishes for an office study which the client required to be stimulating. Both the stripped floor and walls are colourwashed with the concave cornice section picked out in dark grey.

Sam’s own graduated oil based ragged walls, darker to the ceiling and pale to the floor. One client chose graduated pinks and pearlised purples to the woodwork. A second chose the lush gilding to the ceiling panels between the beams.
