As an occasional
break from flowers, Sam still produces what she calls her 'pudding
paintings' - using subjects and in the style of Victorian
illustrations. These echo the work long done onto furniture but now
produced as single paintings on wood panels or canvas. Her subjects
also include china 'cupboards' and shelves filled with kitchenalia.
